If you haven’t yet heard the news, Punxsutawney Phil (the groundhog) saw his shadow which means six more weeks of winter. Some are happy…some are not. Regardless of Phil’s predictions, the chilly weather shouldn’t keep you from coming to church in February. Here are some of our highlights that you shouldn’t miss:
THIS SUNDAY (Febrary 5th):Bishop Don Kreiss preaching at all services
February 12th: Serving Our Community…Representatives from Thrivent (trust me you need to be here to learn how we can do nothing and still raise lots of money for others)
February 19th: In continued celebration of our 40th Anniversary, Pastor Brad Gee!!!
See you on Sundays!

Are you ready for some football!!!!!
I know not all of you are in to football, but for those of you that are, don’t forget the Super Bowl Party on Sunday night at 6:30pm.
Bring some food to share and your own drink.
SEE YOU THEN!!!

Remember my BLOG from October? If not, simply CLICK HERE for the read. I ran in my first marathon…yes yes yes, I know, I know, I know…I ONLY ran on a relay team and therefore only ran one leg of a relay. That is true…however I challenged YOU as a congregation to run with us next time around. If we double our number of runners (relay, 1/2 marathon, or full marathon) then I would upgrade my personal challenge and run a 1/2 marathon.
So…now is the time!
You have plenty of time to train, plenty of time to register, plenty of time to get in shape.
If it hasn’t been made clear, please do some research on your own and find out what this is all about. In short, it is about others. It is about clean water. It is both surviving and thriving. Watch this video and CLICK HERE to lean more from World Vision’s website.
Please read or re-read my BLOG from October and prayerfully consider running with us. You can get all the information for how to register on Hope’s website under the MINISTRIES tab called “Run 4 Water”. CLICK HERE
